What kind of funnels do you use for the 15ml glass bottles?
Where do you buy yours?
I have been trying to use to little plastic perfume funnels, but the opening is a bit too small.

Essential Oils For Cleaning / Re: Top 8 Essential Oils For Cleaning
« Last post by PhiEA on May 15, 2018, 06:08:57 AM »
Essential oils definitely are great and effective agents for cleansing and different oils have different purposes. Using them as blends synergistically can yield great results eliminating the requirement of soap based cleansers like face washes etc. The essential oils of geranium, sandalwood, rosemary, and lime are also great for the same purpose. Phi, Earth's Apothecary has created a cleanser with the antibacterial clary sage, the stimulating and detoxifying lemon and the purifying juniper berry essential oils. Its effective for all skin types and is a gentle cleanser with deep pore cleansing action.

I notice NOW and Vitacost are way cheaper than the well-known oil companies.

What filler do they put in their oils?  Is it coconut oil, or just water?  It says on their bottle 100% pure, but I think there's a caveat in the law where they don't have to declare certain ingredients I think.

Essential Oils For Good Health / Re: How to diffuse essential oils before waking up?
« Last post by nlm on April 18, 2018, 07:35:03 PM »
Several years back, my husband bought me a clock with a diffuser built in.

Instead of a snooze alarm, which it also had, but it would turn on a small light bulb to heat the oil in a bit of water in the small built in dish at the top right at 30 minutes before the alarm would go off.

Maybe try e-bay for diffuser alarm clock? Surely they are still around. I think we picked it up at a local Walgreens or CVS around Christmas.

Best wishes in your acquisition.

Essential Oils For Other Uses / Re: Side effects

No professional ever suggests the ingestion of ANY essential oil as not all essential oils are required to be indigestible, and you don't really know what oils the essential oils were cut with. That is why TL Company specifically states that our essential oils are NOT FOR ORAL CONSUMPTION.

Magical Properties of Incense & Oil

1. Lavender
Lavender essential oil is used to refresh indoor air and used in healing and purifying rituals, and also to arouse sexual desire in men.

2. Peppermint
The essential oil of peppermint has the strong, spicy smell we associate with the herb and peppermint flavored candy. Used to create changes within oneís life. Also used to relax and allow one to unwind.

3. Patchouli
Used in aromatherapy, it is known to eliminate unpleasant odors in the environment and to balance emotions. The sedative scent stimulates the release of pleasure hormones, namely serotonin, and dopamine, thereby improving negative moods and enhancing the feeling of relaxation. It is believed to work as an aphrodisiac by stimulating sensual energy and boosting the libido. When diffused at night, Patchouli Essential Oil can encourage restful sleep, which can, in turn, improve mood, cognitive function, and metabolism. Associated with love, wealth, and sexual power, patchouli can be used in a variety of magical workings. To make someone feel an attraction to you, wear patchouli oil Ė the scent is well‐known as an aphrodisiac. There are some traditions of modern magic in which patchouli is valued for its repelling power. Anoint your doors or windows with either patchouli oil, or the scattered leaves, and use it to keep negative influences at bay or for magical self‐defense.

4. Cinnamon
A high‐vibration oil, used for personal protection. It is also a sexual stimulant in the female. Added to any incense, it increases its powers. Mixed with powdered sandalwood, it makes an incense suitable for all religious or spiritual magic. Good for meditation, illumination, and so on.

5. Orange
To make a person in the mood for marriage, wear this oil. Many women add it to their daily baths to build up their attractiveness. Sometimes known as mantrap.

6. Sandalwood
Protective, very healing, this oil is used to anoint. It also aids one in seeing past incarnations. Try anointing the forehead to promote the Sight.

7. Frankincense
One of the most sacred of all oils, used to anoint magical tools, the altar, etc. A strong purifier used in exorcisms, purification rituals, and blessings.

8. Gardenia
Wear to attract love. A powerful feminine magnetic oil. Protective.

9. Lemon Grass
An aid to the psychic powers. Wear on the forehead. Spiritualists and mediums use it, for it helps make contact with spirits.

10. Vanilla
A vitalizing oil, said to be sexually arousing in women. Use as an energy restorer. Sometimes used to gain extra power during magical ceremonies.

11.Violet
The oil is used in love operations and is sometimes sexually exciting. However, many people canít stand the fragrance of the violet, for some curious reason. Once thought to be sacred to the Fairy Queen. Very healing, added to baths.

12. Jasmin
Symbol of the Moon, and of the mysteries of the night. Jasmin oil is used to attract love. The scent helps one relax, sleep, and also facilitates childbirth. It is sometimes used for meditation and general anointing purposes.

13.Myrrh
A purification, protection and hex‐breaking oil. Possesses a high vibratory rate, making it excellent for the more religious rituals of magic. Anoint the house every morning and evening as part of any protection ritual.

I am very new to Essential Oils. My Grandmother has been suffering with CHF for a few years now. She retain water due to the CHF. She has been on Lasik for this. It has cause her stress in her kidneys. She is now on Hospice and has only been given a very short time left. She has started to retain water again. Due to her being on hospice we are not able to take her to the hospital.   I know that Essential oils can help. I just do not know enough about them.  Any advice on what oils might help and also how to use them?
